Tumalo Falls, Bend, Oregon 13 x 19 print

$50.00

This is a 13 x 19 print, the image is 10 x 15 so you get a nice white border. A must-do hike if you’re in Central Oregon, it’s right outside of Bend. Very popular. Most people stop at this overlook but the trail follows the creek up quite a ways and there are lots of other smaller falls. A really great fall hike, but it can be really hot in the summer.

I’m a graphic designer during the week but on weekends I like to hike. I use my technical computer skills to create these vector-based scenic illustrations to share these beautiful places with you.

Thanks for enjoying the wonderfully diverse Pacific Northwest!

No Kings March today in Portland. Tens of thousands showed up with so many clever signs. Favorite daughter in first pic with my sign (I saw one on threads, not my original idea). Yay people!

We may not be the fasted dragon boat team but we are the funnest. Here’s our traditional end-of-the-season cram in the Lucky Lab Photo Booth pic. We got almost all 23 in! Anyway the weekend is always so much fun, although ‘twas a wee bit
Dragon boat race today… what a blast! We did okay but the point is to have fun… which we did. And my team is a trendsetter … now everybody seems to have a lime green shirt, but we were first.

Pretty wildflowers ~ I really love the balsam root in their seed stage, the pentstemon are still very purple, and of course the brilliant blue cornflower is always a standout. Pretty view also, Mt. Hood peeked out, as did Mt. Adams. Very nice to have
Mt St Helens, and Spirit Lake, as it looks nowadays (in my beautiful illustration). Today marks 45 years since it erupted! The next pic is the beautiful, perfectly rounded peak before it erupted.

What dreary, dark, ash-filled days followed here in
My Mother’s Day treat, a family favorite hike to Falls Creek Falls, where there are always tons of Calypso orchids. This year we (that is favorite daughter) counted 43. One year we counted 115! Fewer this year because of such a dry April? Maybe
Hole-in-the-Wall Falls, at Starvation Creek State Park in the Columbia River Gorge. This waterfall really does come out of a hole in the wall, it’s a pipe constructed by state highway peeps to fix a flooding problem at Warren Creek. It’s

Crafty Wonderland is this coming weekend! Stop by to see my work as well as that of lots of other local artists and creators.

So many of my drawings are from spots in the Columbia Gorge like these: Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls and a view east up t
Glorious day in the Columbia River Gorge. Made all the more glorious thanks to my hiking buddies, favorite daughter and great-nephew Owen the hiker. Yes it was windy! Very!

Mt. Adams is to the north across the river and Mt. Hood seen to the west at
