Mt. Washington

This mountain is a deeply-eroded volcano, so instead of a snow covered peak we typically see you see the volcanic plug at the top. It has its own wilderness area. This view is from the North Matthieu Lake Trail south of the mountain. The row of gray trees in the mid-ground is from a recent wildfire. And the rocks in the foreground, I love the rocks!
